Magic of Matignon | Tuesday, February 13*, 6:00 p.m.

A special dinner event that includes performance by Matignon High School student groups specifically for admitted students and their families to see the Matignon experience firsthand!

*Inclement weather date: Thursday, February 15, 6:00 p.m.

Office of Admissions Extended Hours

Matignon High School's Office of Admissions will be open extended hours on the following dates for questions regarding admissions and enrollment:

  • Wednesday, March 7 | 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 8 | 7:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • Friday, March 9 | 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Admitted Students Facebook Live Session | Thursday, February 16, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Join Matignon High School student via Facebook Live to learn about why you should become a member of #warriornation! Staff will be on hand to answer questions regarding enrollment.

Google Hangout for Admitted Students | Tuesday, February 28, 6:30 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Ever wondered how much homework Matignon High School students average per night? Or how great Matignon faculty really are? Or what athletic opportunities you'll have as a new student? Then come hangout with Matignon High School students via Google Hangout to get answers to questions like these and more!

Class of 2021 Proficiency Testing | Tuesday, March 7, 3 p.m.

Proficiency testing is available for incoming 9th grade student who are interested in placement in a variety of subject areas including math, English, and science. Testing will begin at 3 p.m. and end at approximately 4:15 p.m. An optional, 30-minute foreign language proficiency test will be held at 4:30 p.m. for students who have taken a foreign language for one year or more. Please contact Matignon High School's Office of Admissions for proficiency testing for transfer students and if students cannot make the above date.

Make up proficiency testing is available. Students do not need to pre-register or be enrolled to take proficiency tests on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, March 14 at 3 p.m. (Cancelled due to snow)
  • Wednesday, March 15 at 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, March 16 at 3 p.m.

 

Enrollment Deadline | Wednesday, March 15

Submit an enrollment form, either online or hard copy, to reserve your spot in the Matignon High School Class of 2021! Please contact Emily Neuberger, Director of Admissions at eneuberger@matignon.org or (617) 876-1212 ext 11 for any concerns with adhering to this deadline.

New Student BBQ | Sunday, June 4, 12 p.m. - 2 p.m.

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon to welcome Matignon High School Class of 2021 and new transfer students! Students will have the opportunity to meet coaches, faculty, and fellow classmates, purchase uniforms and textbooks, sign up to join clubs and student grops, and receive their class schedule.

Fall Sports Candidate & Parent Meeting | Tuesday, August 8, 6 p.m.

This meeting is mandatory for any student and their families participating in a fall sport. Matignon High School Athletic Director, Jim Weymouth, and coaching staff will be present to discuss registration and provide tryout information for individual sports.

New Student Orientataion | Tuesday, September 5, 8 a.m.

All new students including incoming 9th graders and transfer students are required to attend to orientation. Student will meet with Matignon administration and their homeroom teachers. Students are required to bring their devices to ensure they can access Google classroom. Students are welcome to bring books and supplies to store in their lockers which will be assigned at orientation. Uniform dress is not required for orientation but students must dress in accordance with Matignon High School dress code policy.

First Day of School | Wednesday, September 6, 7:45 a.m.

The Matignon High School school day begins at 7:45 a.m. and students report to their homeroom class. The late bell rings at 7:50 a.m. School doors open at 6:45 a.m. for student drop off. On the first day of school, students should bring their books, device, writing utensils, and paper or notebook to write on. Students must be in uniform attire.

Parent Orientation Night | Thursday, September 28, 6:30 p.m.

Parents and guardans are welcome to attend Parent Orientation Night. Families will experience a day in the life at Matignon High School and follow their students schedule to get a glimpse in life as a Matignon student. Parents will meet and interact with teachers, staff, and administration and be given an overview of course cotent and expectations.
