What are the students like? How are the class taught? How good is the food? Will I fit in the community?

Shadow days at Matignon High School are a great way to experience a day in the life of a Matignon student and are the best way to see if Matignon is a good fit for you! As a “Warrior for the Day,” prospective students will have the opportunity to see our campus, attend classes, meet Matignon students and teachers, and enjoy a complimentary lunch in our cafeteria.

We invite all prospective students to become a Warrior for the day!

Online Shadow Day requests are preferred. A Shadow Day request form can be found here.

SHADOW DAY INFORMATION

Hosts: Prospective students may request a shadow host; please be aware that pairings cannot be guaranteed. All participating students will ideally shadow a member of the grade they will be entering in the fall and efforts will be made to match students based on shared interests and/or elementary school.

Availability: Shadow Days begin at 8:15 a.m. in the Library Media Center, and end at 2:15 p.m. in the Admissions Office. Shadow Days are available most weekdays. Students shadowing on Wednesdays and Thursdays will experience a typical block schedule day and may not shadow all course subjects.

We encourage prospective students to select a Shadow Day from the available list on the request form. We are happy to make accommodations for alternative shadow days when necessary. Please contact the Admissions Office if you need to make alternative Shadow Day arrangements at admissions@matignon.org or (617) 876-1212 x11.

Prospective students are welcome to shadow on Mass, assembly and early release days. Please check the Matignon calendar for school events to prepare for your Shadow Day. (Early release days end at 1:10 p.m.)
