How do students get to Matignon?
Located just off of Massachusetts Avenue, we are conveniently located near Rt 2, 16 and 93. Many of our students carpool as well as use public transportation.
What is a Shadow Day?
Prospective students are welcome and encouraged to spend a Shadow Day with us during the school year. Each student visitor will be paired with a current student, attend classes, have lunch in our cafeteria and spend the school day at Matignon High School! This is the best opportunity for prospective students to experience an actual day at Matignon High School and meet our students, teachers and staff.
How can I sign up for a Shadow Day?
Is financial aid available?
Matignon High School does award a limited amount of financial aid to eligible students. Financial aid is need based per family. Matignon High School uses the FACTS tuition program to determine financial need. Applications for financial aid must be online submitted through the FACTS Grant & Aid Program using at the FACTS website. Click here to apply.
Note: For 8th grade, priority financial aid applications must be submitted by December 14, 2016. You may use last year’s tax information to complete the application.
Are scholarships available?
Yes, scholarships are awarded to incoming ninth grade students based on academic performance. All transcripts, test scores, and personal essays are considered in determining awards.

Do students need to pay for books?
Yes, students are responsible for purchasing their own books. Books are an additional charge and can vary depending on the courses, used/new books, etc. Each class/teacher requires different textbooks and materials.
At the end of each academic year, Matignon High School hosts a "Book Buy Back" and students can sell back eligible textbooks to the book company.
