International Students

Admissions Process

Thank you for your interest in applying to Matignon High School.  In addition to our standard, college preparatory curriculum, Matignon High School offers ELL (English Language Learning) classes for those students who require it.  Matignon High School Administration officials confer with each student and his/her agency or guardian to determine whether ELL is appropriate.

For the 2017-2018 school year international tuition is $16,475.  English Language Learning (ELL) is an additional $4,500 for a total of $20,975.  The ELL program includes 4 classes:  ELL English, ELL American History, ELL Theology and TOEFL Prep.  In addition to these 4 classes, students enrolled in ELL have access to regular after-school tutoring.

Applications can be emailed to Sarah Crass, International Student Director at scrass@matignon.org or mailed via US Post.  Along with the completed application, please submit your school transcript along with two letters of recommendations from teachers.

You may apply online or print a hard copy of the application.

SLEP or other proficiency test scores are not required for acceptance to Matignon High School.  A written essay and Skype interview are utilized to determine students’ placement.

Once the student has been accepted to attend Matignon High School, he/she is required to submit a registration form along with a $500.00 non-refundable registration fee and a $1,000.00 tuition deposit.  Upon receipt of these, an I-20 will be processed for the student.  I-20s will be given to the student within 2 business days of registration.

Additional questions should be directed to Sarah Crass at scrass@matignon.org.
