Warriors Gear Up for Tournament Season

February 1, 2018

Tournament time is right around the corner and many of the Warrior winter teams are approaching qualification. The girls' basketball team is currently undefeated at 10 and 0. They have had some great games this year, and continue to move towards a top seed in the upcoming MIAA Tournament.

The boys' basketball team has also clinched a tournament berth with a huge comeback win against Division II, Tewksbury Memorial High School. The team fought back from a 20 point deficit to win the game, their tenth of the year, at the buzzer.

The indoor track season came to a close yesterday as our athletes ran their last meet at the Reggie Lewis Center. Several of our track athletes are hoping to participate in the CCL League Meet next Thursday. The top two scores from each team will move on to the league meet.

The boys' and girls' hockey teams are both still battling for the playoffs. Both of our hockey teams have played one of the best schedules in the state. The girls' team boasts a record of 7 wins, six losses, and 1 tie; the boys' team has 6 wins, 6 losses, and two ties. Come out to Stoneham Arena on Saturday, February 3, to catch a doubleheader. The boys play at 6:00 p.m., followed by the girls at 8:00 p.m.

The swim team will participate in the Catholic Central League Meet this Saturday, February 3, at Simmons College from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. We wish them luck!
