The Music Program at Matignon incorporates a variety of opportunities for anyone interested in music. There is a choir, which provides the music for the school Masses, and is open to any student. There are no auditions and no experience is required. The choir sings liturgical music as well as modern and pop music.
There is a music ensemble for instrumentalists. If a student plays an instrument, they may participate in music ensemble. Music is chosen depending on which instruments participate. Experience is required on at least one instrument (voice does not count as an instrument) and there is a preliminary audition for placement in the appropriate ensemble.
There are many opportunities for student musicians to perform. Twice a year, Music & Arts Nite is an open performance for not just student musicians and singers, but also dancers and actors.
Students provide the music for monthly masses and special school-wide events like graduation.
