Students Against Destructive Decisions

Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) is a student run group that focuses on promoting awareness of high risk behaviors and encourages students to make safer decisions in life.  A few of the topics SADD focuses on includes texting and driving, drug and alcohol abuse, seat belt safety, cyberbullying, and cyber safety.  SADD runs reoccurring events throughout the school year including Grimm Reaper Day which focuses on teenage deaths related to car accidents and Toots for Treats in which students and parents driving on school grounds will receive candy if they are wearing their seatbelts.  This year, SADD is also hosting assembly days which include presentation by Chris Herron, a former Boston Celtic player who struggled with heroin addiction and Cybersafety/Cyberbullying presented by the Massachusetts Aggression Reduction Center.
